Created by Tara L. Aldridge and Farrah Gregg Willis, Happy Goes the Day explores the sometimes unpredictable life of Magnolia Koren Johansson. As a young talented graphic artist now forced to adult with the rest of the world, she finds herself trying to balance work, family and the shock of reality in the "real" world.
Hi. I'm Tara, the writer, and I'm a native Washingtonian who dabbles in several genres of writing. I'm NO expert on comics but I've always enjoyed reading them. I enjoy the storytelling and imagery the comic artists create so one day I was like "I wanna write a comic." My friends were like, "Why?" then I was like "Because." and they were like "Oh." Thus began my comic creative journey. One thing that I did know is I wanted Farrah Gregg Willis as the Illustrator. She had no idea then one day, years later, my fear took a break and went out for a smoke or some dumb shit and I asked her if she was down and...(sniff sniff) SHE SAID "YES!!!!" Farrah is one of the most talented illustrators in the DMV (I STAND BY THIS PROCLAMATION!!!). Outstanding, really.

And I'm Farrah Gregg-Willis. I have been a freelance designer for 10+ years. My strengths are gesture drawing, graphic design, color theory, and social media. I am devoted in collaborating with my clients and to facilitate creative problem-solving skills. I am passionate about: good communication, time management and organization, which are invaluable skills to ensure my work is completed with high accuracy and attention to detail.
